Present there were Wu Donghe, chairman of the China-Korea Friendship Association, Peng Zuoku, vice-president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and other officials concerned.

Wu Donghe said that the hard-working and resourceful Korean people have achieved steady successes in the great work for accomplishing the cause of socialist construction for 65 years under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and First Secretary Kim Jong Un.

It is the steadfast strategic policy of the Chinese party and government to steadily boost the Sino-Korean good neighborly friendly relations of cooperation, he said.

He expressed belief that the Sino-Korean relations of friendship and cooperation would expand and develop in wider areas thanks to the care of the leaders of the two countries and common efforts of the parties, governments and peoples of the two countries.

The DPRK ambassador to China said that the history of the DPRK is a proud one of victory in which it has vigorously advanced for building a thriving nation despite all sorts of hardships and trials under the leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He hoped that the fraternal Chinese people would realize the dream of China and achieve bigger successes in the drive to implement the tasks set forth by the 18th Congress of the Communist Party of China under the leadership of the CPC with respected Xi Jinping as its general secretary.

The traditional DPRK-China friendship cultivated by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il together with Chinese leaders is daily growing stronger under the deep care of Kim Jong Un and Xi Jinping, he said, expressing the will to make positive efforts to develop the DPRK-China friendship.
