M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, said this when interviewed by KCNA on Tuesday after taking part in the celebrations of the 65th birthday of the DPRK.

President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il founded and enriched the Songun idea, he said, and went on:

Kim Jong Il formulated Songun politics based on the Songun idea as a main political mode under socialism.

Thanks to his Songun politics the Korean people have been able to win one victory after another in the struggle to defend socialism and push ahead with the building of a thriving nation.

The world progressives recognize Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il as the most just and reasonable political mode for protecting the dignity and sovereignty of countries and nations and express sympathy with it and extend full support to it.

Those countries which value independence and peace should follow the Songun idea, Songun politics.

The Korean people are now led by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Under his wise guidance the cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward.

Kim Jong Un is wisely leading the Korean people in the drive to achieve national reunification on the basis of the three charters for national reunification.

We will make positive efforts to widely disseminate the great Songun idea and always stand by the Korean people.
