It brought together hundreds of men and women players from more than 10 units including Taekwon-Do teams of Pyongyang and various provinces. They will compete in Taekwon-Do and Paduk (go game).

Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned, players, coaches, citizens and school youth and children.

At the end of the ceremony there was a demonstration of Taekwon-Do.
