Officials of the confederation visited the DPRK embassy in Moscow on Sept. 6 to lay a floral basket before a full-length picture of President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il and pay tribute to them.

A celebration meeting took place on Sept. 7.

Chairman of the confederation Kim Chil Song in a speech recalled that great successes have been achieved by the homeland in the building of an economic power and its international prestige has further risen under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He noted the Koreans in Russia feel very proud of being members of the Korean nation as the DPRK is making eye-opening successes, demonstrating its tremendous national power.

He stressed that the overseas compatriots would make tangible contributions to the country's reunification and its prosperity.
