DPRK women made good results in the 1st-day competitions on Thursday.

Ri Jong Hui and Kim Chung Sim took the titles in the Asian Cup junior women's 48 and 53 kg categories and Paek Il Hwa and Kim Su Ryon in the Asian Interclub junior women's 48 and 53 kg.

That day DPRK captured 12 gold, six silver and one bronze medals in total.

Kim Su Ryon, who bagged three gold medals with 193 kg in total, told KCNA that she would intensify training to get more gold medals in the future international tournaments.

Kim Chung Sim, a winner of two gold and one silver medals, said:

"I felt great strength, picturing respected Marshal Kim Jong Un seeing me in competition.

I will display the honor of country with gold medals in the future, too."
