There were men's and women's sparring matches according to body weight categories in Taekwon-Do, divided into Groups A and B in the Taekwon-Do Hall on Saturday in the wake of the first day games on Friday.

An individual contest in Paduk took place in the Taekwon-Do Holy Center.

Those who took the first place in the Group A body weight categories of Taekwon-Do sparring matches were Kang Chol U, player from the Sunchon Cement Complex in 50 kg, Wang Myong Guk, player from Nampho City in 57 kg, Jon Kwang Hyon, player from the National Taekwon-Do Team in 64 kg, Jang Yong Il, player from South Hamgyong Province in 71 kg, Ham Chung Ryol, player from the National Taekwon-Do Team in 78 kg, Ryu Hong Chol, player from Pyongyang City in 85 kg, Kim Song Ryong, player from the National Taekwon-Do Team in over 85 kg. Those who took first in B Group were Kang Un Hyok, player from North Hamgyong Province in 50 kg, Ri Chung Il, player from Kangwon Province in 57 kg, Rim Hong Sik, player from North Phyongang Province in 64 kg, Ha Kum Gwang, player from North Hwanghae Province in 71 kg, Kim Nam Su, player from Jagang Province in 78 kg and Kim Yong Chol, player from Jagang Province in over 85 kg.

Kang Yong Sim (Kangwon Province), Hwang Su Yong (Pyongyang City) and others came first in women's sparring matches of 45, 51, 57, 63, 69, 75 and over 75 kg categories.

Ryu Rim, player from South Phyongan Province, Kang Kil Hyok, player from Pyongyang City, and others emerged winners in the individual Paduk contests of A and B groups.
