Noting the founding of the DPRK on September 9, 1948 made it possible for the Korean people who were liberated from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule to more dynamically wage the struggle to create a new life, exercising their democratic right, the general secretary noted:

Comrade Kim Il Sung built Korean-style socialism based on the Juche idea.

After his demise in 1994 Comrade Kim Jong Il devoted his whole life to the people, holding aloft the banner of Songun.

He was an outstanding thinker and theoretician and a prominent statesman who always led the Workers' Party of Korea to victory, true to the cause of Kim Il Sung.

He firmly defended Korean socialism from the threat and provocation by the U.S. imperialists and its lackeys and worked heart and soul for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

The cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for building a thriving nation has been successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people.

The New Communist Party of Britain is convinced that the Korean people would overcome all the trials and accomplish their cause.

We praise the spirit and will of the Korean people to defend socialism and firmly believe that they will make strenuous efforts to protect their social system in the 21st century, too.
