Displayed in the exhibition were at least 600 inventions and proposals for technological updating made by personnel and technicians in the communications service in the course of the drive for modernizing the service. Diagrams, multimedia, communications equipment and apparatuses showcasing sci-tech achievements were on display.

While the exhibition was under way, its participants exchanged achievements and experience gained in producing optical fibre communications cable, setting up networks of communications, increasing the capacities of automatic exchange, information transmission and data communications and rounding off mobile communications bases, etc.

Drawing attention of the participants were equipment and apparatuses capable of automating the processes including the general controlling and monitoring of the broadcasting equipment and boosting the broadcasting output and TV re-diffusion capacity.

The exhibition also involved a public presentation of sci-tech achievements and various other events.
