S. Korean Internet Paper Exposes Widening Gap between Rich, Poor in U.S.

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- An article dealing with the widening gap between the rich and the poor in the U.S. was posted on a south Korean internet paper on September 12.

A handful of rich people in the U.S. held more than half of the total income last year, all time high in 100 years, whereas the majority of people in the U.S. are suffering from destitution due to joblessness and meager wages and economic downturn goes on, said the article.

Joblessness in the U.S. is the most serious in 35 years, it added.
