The competitions brought together men and women Taekwon-Do players seeded from about 10 teams.

They successfully destroyed the targets by front fist, knife-hand, elbow, side kick and turning kick requiring great strength and skills.

Ri Phil Hun of the South Hwanghae Provincial team and Ri Hyon A of the Kangwon Provincial team came first in men's and women's individual demonstration competitions.

Men players of the South Hamgyong Provincial team and women players of the Kangwon Provincial team emerged winners in the team matches for demonstration.

The Pyongyang team placed second in both men's and women's competitions while men of the North Hwanghae Provincial team and women of the South Hwanghae Provincial team came third.
