The presentation was sponsored by the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea. Attending it were officials, scientists, technicians, teachers and researchers of various units including the university, the State Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection and the Ministry of Urban Management.

The presentation was divided into various panels including architecture, building engineering, building materials, building machine, urban management, land and environment protection, hydraulic engineering and building information technology. They heard more than 400 scientific and technological papers and dozens of construction proposals.

They introduced achievements and experience in drastically developing building science and technology.

Highly appreciated there were papers which were introduced to major construction projects to pay off including the study into technology of coating granite color and study into the master plan of the Pyongyang Folklore Park.

Drawing attention of the participants were achievements conducive to preserving national character in greening and putting building design on a scientific and computerized basis.

During the presentation there were lessons on the trend of development of building science including housing heating system by solar energy and city lighting design.

At a closing ceremony Wednesday, the jury announced the results and awarded diplomas and prizes to units and participants who were highly estimated at the presentation.
