The championship started last Thursday. Its participants made successes in games conducive to the development of the national martial art by giving play to persevering will and high skills.

In Taekwon-Do game the North Hwanghae Provincial Taekwon-Do team came first while Kangwon and South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do teams placed second and third.

The Pyongyang City Taekwon-Do team came first in the paduk game and the South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do team and the South Phyongan Provincial Taekwon-Do team placed second and third in it.

North Hwanghae Province came first in team standing while Pyongyang City and South Hamgyong Province placed second and third.

Present at the closing ceremony were officials concerned, players, coaches, Pyongyang citizens and students.

Cups, certificates and medals were awarded to the successful teams and players.
