The president in his message extended the sincerest congratulations and best wishes to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the government and people of the DPRK on behalf of the government and people of Kenya and on his own behalf on the occasion of the national day of the DPRK.

The message expressed hope that fresh motive power would be provided in the DPRK to achieve greater prosperity and development on the significant 65th anniversary of its sovereignty.

Expressing belief that the bilateral friendly relations would grow stronger on the occasion, the message noted that Kenya is joining the Korean people in celebrating the significant holiday.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and the people of the DPRK greater success, development and prosperity.
