The president extended sincere regards and felicitations to Kim Jong Un, the DPRK government and its people on behalf of the government and people of Sri Lanka on the happy occasion of marking the anniversary of the DPRK.

He expressed his conviction that the warm and friendly relations between the two countries would steadily grow stronger on the principle of mutual benefits in the future.

He said he availed himself of the opportunity to sincerely wish Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the people of the DPRK steady progress and prosperity.
