Lectures were given in France, Sweden, Guinea and Zimbabwe between September 2 and 9.

The vice-president of the France-Korea Friendship Association paid highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il who made great contributions to the founding of the DPRK and its development.

He said:

The DPRK has registered shining achievements in building a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

It has coped with all pressures and military threats of the imperialists including the U.S. from its peace-loving stand backed by powerful military muscle, thereby firmly defending its sovereignty and dignity and peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

We will launch widespread activities for supporting the just cause of the Korean people.

The chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said in his lecture:

The DPRK has strictly orientated all lines and policies and activities of the state to protecting the independent rights and interests of the people and enforced all popular policies, thus consistently standing for the building of a unique socialist state centred on the popular masses.

The DPRK remained unfazed when socialism was frustrated in different countries, and ushered in a new era of building a thriving nation, holding high the banner of socialism even in the worst adversity in which the offensive of the imperialist allied forces to stifle it got undisguised and unprecedentedly severe natural calamities hit the country for several consecutive years.

The Korean people are now bringing about miracles and innovations every day in every field of socialist construction in the spirit of the "speed on Masik Pass."
