There were receptions, round-table talks, book and photo exhibitions and film shows at the DPRK missions in Beijing, Shenyang and Hong Kong in China, Moscow, Khabarovsk and Nakhodka in Russia, Cuba, Vietnam, Iran, Cambodia, Laos, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Romania, Sweden, Brazil, Egypt, Guinea, South Africa and Uganda between September 3 and 8.

Displayed in the venues of the events were photos showing the exploits President Kim Il Sung performed in the nation-building and General Secretary Kim Jong Il in the Songun revolution and the revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

On display there were books including works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and photos showing the history of the DPRK and the efforts made by the Korean people in building a thriving nation.

Participants of the film shows watched "Fireworks of a thriving nation", "Pyongyang today" and "Tower of the Juche Idea" and other Korean films.

The vice-chairman of the Liaoning Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference of China said that after its founding the DPRK vigorously advanced along the road of progress and development under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the National Council of the Vietnamese National Assembly sincerely congratulated the Korean people on the shining successes made over the last 65 years.

A vice foreign minister of Iran noted that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were the great statesmen who performed immortal feats in making the DPRK rich, powerful and prosperous.

The prime minister of the Yangon Regional Government of Myanmar said that the DPRK turned into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence, thanks to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, adding tremendous is the might of the people of the DPRK single-mindedly united around Kim Jong Un and no force on earth can match it.

The director for East Asia of the Brazilian Foreign Ministry wished the Korean people success in their drive for building an economic power and protecting peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.
