The delegation members went round historic relics preserved with good care at the old home in Mangyongdae, being briefed on the fact that Kim Il Sung was born in the low thatch-roofed house and spent his childhood there, nurturing his great intention to liberate the country.

At the end of the visit the head of the delegation said:

From long ago I have revered the great President Kim Il Sung.

The President worked heart and soul to turn Korea into a rich, powerful independent and sovereign state.

I hope that the Korean people would achieve great successes in building a thriving socialist nation, true to the behests of the President.

The guests also visited the Tower of the Juche Idea, the Friendship Tower and other places.
