DPRK Introduced by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried articles on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the DPRK.

The Romanian paper Romania Muncitoare in its September issue carried an article titled "DPRK Today."

The DPRK with a long history spanning five thousand years and excellent cultural tradition is ushering in a heyday of development, the paper said, adding:

The DPRK is an independent country. It has an invincible military strength.

It has powerful national defence industry capable of making at will any ultra-modern weapons for both attack and defense.

The DPRK's economy is rapidly developing despite severe situation and environment.

The foundation of the self-supporting national economy has been steadily cemented as required by the industrial revolution in the new century.

The Zimbabwean newspaper Herald on Sep. 7 carried an article under the title of "DPRK Accelerating the Building of an Economic Power" which said the DPRK is giving priority to the living of the people even though it suffers from shortage of everything.

Slogan "Everything for the people and everything relying on masses!" is being held high and desire and demand of the people are reflected even in a building, it added.

The Syrian papers Al Thawrah and Al Baath and the Bangladeshi paper Bangladesh Today on Sep. 8 and 9 carried articles under the titles "Independence and Achievement" and "To Eminence of a Thriving Nation."

The papers introduced the shining history of victory of the DPRK, stressing the Korean people will win the final victory for the building of a thriving nation before long.
