Japan's Denial of Sexual Slavery under Fire in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held the 1092nd Wednesday rally outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul in protest against the Japanese authorities' distortion of history.

Speakers at the rally recalled that the part dealing with the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army of the history textbooks which passed the screening in Japan is quite contrary to facts.

They held that such history textbooks in which the sexual slavery is misrepresented or deleted should not be allowed to go into the hands of students.

They urged the Japanese authorities to make a sincere apology for the past crimes, record the crimes against humanity in the history textbooks and make sure that true history is taught to the students.
