The message expressed belief that the long-standing friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would grow stronger as required by the new century, wishing the prime minister of Albania success in his responsible work for the development and prosperity of the country.

Meanwhile, DPRK Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun on the same day sent a similar message to Ditmir Bushati upon his appointment as foreign minister of Albania.
