DPRK's Birthday Marked at Its Diplomatic Missions Abroad

Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Receptions, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place at DPRK's missions in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Poland, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal and Peru, its permanent mission at the UN and its permanent missions at the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva from Sept. 4 to 9 on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the DPRK. Present there on invitation were personages of foreign governments, political parties, military, social bodies, institutions, organizations for the study of the Juche idea, organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people, international and regional bodies, non-governmental organizations and diplomats of various countries. Officials of the DPRK missions in those countries were present there. The advisor of the Presidential Advisory Council of Indonesia said that while staying in the DPRK, he witnessed great successes made by the people of the DPRK in the building of an economic power under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. The vice-minister of the Prime Minister's Office of Malaysia noted that the DPRK will become more prosperous as supreme leader Kim Jong Un is paying deep attention to developing the economy and improving the people's living standard. The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) stressed that the world progressives would invariably extend full support to the people of the DPRK in their struggle to reliably defend socialism under the uplifted banner of Songun. The secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung in the nation-building would last forever. The minister of state for Foreign Affairs of Nigeria said that the world people highly praise Kim Jong Un for leading the DPRK to victory and glory. The chairman of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru and the general secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru noted that the DPRK, which was founded by Kim Il Sung and led by Kim Jong Il, will win victory after victory under the leadership of Kim Jong Un." |
