Wreaths Laid before Bust of Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Sunday, the 64th anniversary of her demise.

Seen standing there was a wreath sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior officials of the party, state and army.

Laid before her bust were wreaths in the name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet.

Also laid there were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, KPA units, scientific, educational and media institutions, joint national organizations of the Korean Children's Union, party and power bodies, factories and farms in Pyongyang.

The participants paid silent tribute to her, recollecting her revolutionary life.

Meanwhile, floral baskets were laid before her statues in Kim Jong Suk County, Hoeryong City, Kim Jong Suk Naval University and Kim Jong Suk General Military Academy on the same day.

Floral tribute was paid to her statues in the name of local party and power organs, working people's organizations, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, industrial establishments, farms, schools, etc.
