The tourists taking part in the festival from Sweden, Norway, Germany, Finland, UK and Switzerland cycled nearly 50 kilometers from the edge of bridge Wonjong to Haean Park in the city along the Wonjong-Rajin road.

They paid floral tribute before the mosaic depicting smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in the city.

They held a meeting outside Haean Park on Monday as regards the end of the festival.

Present there were officials concerned, people in the city and tourists taking part in the festival.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

Jon Tong Chol, department director of the Rason City People's Committee, said that the DPRK would develop the friendly and cooperation relations with friendly countries on the principle of equality and mutual benefits and in the idea of independence, friendship and peace.

Dangawertwaagn, general manager of the Nordic Ways Vasa Company of Sweden, said that it is fortune for the tourists to visit Rason City and hold the cycling festival.

He expressed belief that the international exchanges for the development and activation of the Rason economic and trade zone and development of tour in the zone would be more briskly conducted in the future.

The tourists visited various places including the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Greenhouse in Rason City and enjoyed an art performance given by kindergarteners.
