DPRK's Anniversary Marked in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried special write-ups on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the DPRK.

The September issue of the German newspaper Rote Fahne carried an article titled "65 years of victory and glory" together with the portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung.

It said that since the proclamation of its foundation on Sept. 9, 1948 the DPRK has covered the way of victory and glory for 65 years and turned into an invincible socialist state.

The paper elaborated on successes achieved by the DPRK in economic construction after the foundation.

The Myanmar newspaper The New Age on Sept. 2 devoted two whole pages to the special write-ups with the photo of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

It said in an article titled "DPRK today" that the DPRK with a long history of 5 000 years and excellent cultural tradition is opening the golden age of its development.

The DPRK is a country with strong sense of independence, it said, adding that the DPRK took strong counter-measures for self-defense against the U.S. and its allied forces when they persistently tried to stifle the DPRK over its successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2.

The DPRK is directing great efforts to building a highly civilized socialist nation, the paper said.

The Iranian paper Iran News on Sept. 8 carried an article titled "DPRK's 65 years of victory and glory" with photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
