The book contains 105 works including historic speeches, concluding speeches and talks made by leader Kim Jong Il from January to July, Juche 51 (1962).

The works deal with the ideas and theories of the education in the revolutionary traditions, the party work, socialist economic construction, military affairs, national reunification and the cause of global independence expounded by him through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.

In "Revolutionary Traditions of the Party Are Established by the Leader of the Working Class" and "Education in Revolutionary Relics Should Be Conducted Well" and other works he indicates the tasks and ways for firmly defending and glorifying the revolutionary traditions of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

"Let's Deeply Grasp the Great Chongsan-ri Spirit and Chongsan-ri Method" and "On Correctly Understanding the Validity of the Basic Line of Building Socialist Economy" and other works indicate the tasks to further develop the economy of the DPRK which turned into a socialist industrial state with the foundation of the independent national economy under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

In "People's Army Is the Army of the Leader and the Party", "Worker-Peasant Red Guards Are the Powerful Civilian Armed Forces of Our Party", "U.S. Imperialists' Moves for Aggression and War Are Becoming More Vicious and Craftier" and other works he said that the basic mission of the People's Army is to firmly guarantee the revolutionary cause of the leader and the cause of the party with arms.

The book also contains works which deal with the issue of understanding the validity and vitality of the theoretical issues of political economy in reality and ideas and theories of establishing a revolutionary habit of study among university students, developing science and technology and training school youth and children to be revolutionary talents equipped with knowledge, a good moral character and good health.
