He in his message extended warm congratulations and best wishes to Kim Jong Un, the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, all its members and the fraternal people of the DPRK on behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, all its members, the people of Laos and on his own behalf on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the WPK (October 10, 1945- October 10, 2013).

He noted with great pleasure that the fraternal people of the DPRK have registered great successes in carrying out the cause of safeguarding socialism and building it and further improving the people's living standard, holding the banner of the Juche idea and Songun, under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the great leaders of the Korean people, and the WPK led by Kim Jong Un for 68 years.

He expressed hope that the WPK and the people of the DPRK, under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, would achieve greater and fresh successes in accomplishing the cause of defending the country, building a thriving socialist nation and contributing to the peace, friendship and cooperation in the region and the rest of the world by achieving the peaceful reunification of the country.

He expressed the wish to see the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties, the two governments and the two peoples continue to grow stronger.

He wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and great success in the accomplishment of his noble cause.
