The Confederation of Trade Unions held a press conference on Wednesday at which it denounced the present chief executive for making neither apology nor clarification to the people of her behavior unilaterally reneging on her commitment to pay old-age pension made during her election campaign.

The People's Action for Properly Fixing the People's Pension made up of 11 organizations including the Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society expressed skepticism about whether the regime had a real intention to fulfill the commitment.
