Present there were Kim Jin Bom, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and vice-chairman of the C.C., the DPRK-China Friendship Association, officials concerned, Pyongyangites, the delegation of the China-Korea Friendship Association led by Chairman Wu Donghe, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Liu Hongcai and his embassy officials.

Speeches were made at the opening ceremony.

The speakers said that the DPRK-China Friendship Association and the China-Korea Friendship Association have positively promoted the friendly exchange and cooperation as intended by the top leaders of the two countries after their formations.

They expressed the belief that the DPRK-China friendship will invariably develop thanks to the efforts of the parties, governments and peoples of the two countries.

The participants looked round fine art pieces of China on the themes of animals and plants and natural scenery.
