Papers Condemn Brutal Killing of S. Korean Civilian
Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- Newspapers Saturday carry commentaries slamming the south Korean puppet authorities for killing a south Korean civilian when he tried to come over to the north by swimming across the River Rimjin recently.

South Korean puppet army soldiers fired hundreds of bullets at a bare-handed civilian coming over to the north in pursuit of a way of living, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:

What is more intolerable is that the authorities are spreading a ridiculous story about "a spy" when public became vocal condemning the atrocity.

The Intelligence Service of south Korea is claiming that he was highly likely to be a spy of the north who attempted to go to the north. And the south Korean military is busy justifying the killing, asserting that soldiers are obliged to fire at anyone disobedient to control and that he might have gone over to the north in a moment, had he been allowed to do so.

It is the sinister intention of the south Korean authorities to calm down the public denunciation of the brutal killing, use this accidental incident for stoking extreme hostility towards the north and kicking up a campaign of confrontation with fellow countrymen.

The recent brutal killing of the civilian is nothing but the height of the crime against humanity and human rights, stunning the world people.

This incident once again brought to light the true colors of the south Korean authorities as cruel human butchers who do not recognize the elementary rights of toiling masses but mercilessly kill them, utterly indifferent to human ethics.

Minju Joson says that with no rhetoric can the south Korean authorities evade the responsibility for murdering the civilian and abusing the incident for escalating the inter-Korean confrontation.
