44 storied and 36 storied apartment houses for educators based on wonderful formative art have a laundry, a public bath and various other public service facilities and a small park.

There are peculiarly built indoor resting places on the 17th and 30th floors of the 44 storied apartment house and on the 14th and 27th floors of the 36 storied apartment house where educators and their families can have a pleasant rest.

He visited the construction site in August last and instructed the builders to successfully complete the project by the anniversary of the Party so that the houses might be provided to teachers and researchers as gifts. He gave precious instructions concerning the work to wind up the construction.

He was satisfied to see the exterior of the apartment houses peculiarly decorated with color tiles and hard glass. He looked round several flats on the third floor of apartment house No. 2 to learn in detail about the construction.

Going round the living room, kitchen, study and bedroom one by one, he said they are properly fitted with furniture according to the design he had already ratified, the floors are covered with quality material and the colors and patterns of the wallpapers gave the feeling of comfort.

He promised to provide every household with a TV set and more sets of varieties of tableware as he had said.

He told officials to fix a bookshelf to the wall of the study in front the table so that teachers and researchers may study and prepare their teaching plans in their houses without any inconvenience and a round mirror to the wall of the corridor to their convenience.

He went up to several floors one by one to learn in detail about the construction. He went round the indoor resting place on the 17th floor.

The indoor resting place has been successfully built so that teachers and researchers may have stroll, reading and amusement games and their children may play to their satisfaction, he said.

He went out to the veranda to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the cityscape. He was pleased that the apartment houses are located in a good place and their appearance made the Ryonghung Crossroads look nicer.

He said there is nothing to spare for teachers and researchers of the university who train scientific talents who will be responsible for the future of the country in the age of knowledge-based economy, age of campaign of brains.

He expressed expectation and conviction that educators of Kim Il Sung University would achieve bigger successes in the education of younger generation and training of talents true to the party's intention.

He was accompanied by Choe Thae Bok, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the WPK; Ma Won Chun, vice department director of the C.C., the WPK; Thae Hyong Chol, president of Kim Il Sung University; and Kim Thae Hi, chief secretary of the party committee of the university.
