US Watchword of "World without Nuclear Weapons" under Fire
|

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- The present U.S. administration has spoken loudly of its plan to realize the "world without nuclear weapons" from the outset of its office. It has been busy discussing the "nuclear non-proliferation" and proposing "cuts of nuclear weapons". Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says: The watchword of "the world without nuclear weapons" put up by the U.S. administration is nothing but a camouflage to hide its ambition to dominate the world with its nuclear edge. The U.S. has pushed ahead with the development of the new type nukes behind the signboard of "building the world without nuclear weapons". But "nuclear non-proliferation" and "cuts of nuclear weapons" much touted by the U.S. are all hypocrisy that stirs up ridicule. Over 200 nukes possessed by Israel are a product of the U.S. stealthy proliferation of nuclear technology. The U.S. is entirely to blame for the ever-mounting nuclear threat and the danger of nuclear war in the world. It continues conducting nuclear tests being bent on developing the nukes, while keeping mum about the nuclear development of its followers and allies and helping them do it in every way. In the meantime, it is crying out for such watchwords as the "nuclear non-proliferation" and "cuts of nuclear weapons", sophism that can convince no one. Washington is desperately seeking to loosen the vigilance of its potential rivals and weaken their nuclear forces to the maximum and build the uni-polar world backed by nuclear upper-hand while recklessly going ahead with the modernization of its nukes. But this is just a daydream. No country in the world will believe in the U.S. watchword of "world without nuclear weapons". The U.S. should stop trumpeting about the spurious watchword and make a bold and real decision to dismantle its nukes. |
