The website in an article subtitled "Developing WPK into a party with a steadfast guiding idea" noted leader Kim Jong Il held fast to the Juche idea as the guiding idea and thoroughly applied it to party building and activities.

As it was led by Kim Jong Il, the WPK became a party strong in its independent stand remaining unfazed despite all sorts of storms and stresses of history and a powerful party which vigorously advances along the road of accomplishing the cause of socialism without any slightest deviation from its line.

The website in another article subtitled "Developing the WPK into a party which achieved its single-minded unity" said it is ascribable to the distinguished political caliber of Kim Jong Il that there exists neither faction nor factional strife within the WPK.

It added:
