The message said:

We extend warm congratulations and greetings to you and, through you, to the CPC and the government and people of the PRC on behalf of the WPK and the DPRK government and people on the 64th anniversary of the PRC.

The foundation of the PRC brought about a radical turn in advancing the history of China and carving out the destiny of hundreds of millions of people. China has achieved eye-opening progress and great changes startling the world people in all fields of politics, economy, culture, science and technology for over the past 60 years.

The Chinese people have steadily strengthened the general power of the country and its external position by directing efforts to realizing the "dream of China" for the great prosperity of the Chinese nation under the leadership of the CPC.

Our people sincerely hope that the fraternal Chinese people will achieve bigger successes in accomplishing the cause of comprehensively building socialist society with the Chinese characteristics.

It is the steadfast stand of our party and government to develop down through generations the DPRK-China friendship to which the leaders of the elder generations and revolutionary forerunners of the two countries devoted their heart and soul, and which stood all sorts of hardship of history.
