Present there were Choe Un Bok, chairwoman of the association, its officials, Hwang Yong Du, chairman of the Liaoning Regional Association, and Koreans in Shenyang City.

A letter to Marshal Kim Jong Un from the General Association of Koreans in China was adopted at the event.

There took place a photo exhibition.

Displayed in the venue of the exhibition were photos of leader Kim Jong Il meeting with south Korean President Roh Moo Hyun in Pyongyang in October, 2007 and signing the "Declaration for the Development of North-South Relations and Peace and Prosperity".

Also on display were photos showing the DPRK.

The participants watched a Korean film documenting the May Day meeting for reunification held by workers in the north and the south to achieve the independent reunification of the country under the banner of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
