S. Korean FM's Reckless Remarks Slammed

Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- Yun Pyong Se, foreign minister of south Korea, dared to pull the Workers' Party of Korea up over its new strategic line in a talk with the U.S. secretary of State and in his speech in the period of the UN General Assembly. He said that the faster the "circumstances for leading the north to change" is created, the better it will be, while calling for "abandonment of the new line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force and option for prosperity". He went so arrogant as to claim south Korea is ready to "help" the north if it opts for "change". Rodong Sinmun Thursday runs a commentary in this regard. The reckless remarks by Yun are the revelation of extreme hostility of the south Korean puppet authorities towards the political idea and social system in the north and wicked intention to escalate confrontation of the systems, the commentary says, and goes on: Yun's foolish rhetoric about "abandonment" and "option" is an unpardonable mockery and vicious provocation against the north, dialogue partner. What is more ridiculous is that he trumpeted about the "readiness for help" despite his pitiful plight. He has done nothing helpful for mending the north-south relations but let loose only vicious invectives against the north while disturbing the process for improving the relations. We can not but question what he meant by help? The honeyed remarks he made while carrying a dagger in his belt clearly represent the intention of the chief executive of south Korea who oft-repeats "dialogue" and "confidence-building process". Dogs bark but caravan moves on. No matter how desperately the puppet forces may cry out for "abandonment" and "option", the DPRK will neither hesitate nor abandon. Traitor Yun would be well advised to know that his invectives will invite unimaginable retaliation. |
