Present there were Chairman of the National Reconciliation Council Kim Yong Dae who is chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party, Kang Ryon Hak, member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea, officials of the Council for the Reunification of Tangun's Nation, officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.

Overseas compatriots staying in the socialist homeland took part in the event.

They first performed an ancestral sacrifice for Tangun.

Then Yun Jong Ho, vice-chairman of the Council for the Reunification of Tangun's Nation, made a commemorative report.

He highly praised President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for discovering Tangun, who had been regarded as a mythical being, as a man who actually existed and making sure that the Mausoleum of King Tangun was built into a magnificent ancestral one of the nation, adding that they are the peerlessly great men and great sages of the nation.

He called on all Koreans to more dynamically turn out in the drive to achieve the prosperity of the nation and the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
