Sportspersons Move to New Houses in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- A block of apartment houses has been successfully built on the picturesque bank of the River Pothong as a gift of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Every flat has several living rooms, a kitchen, a washroom, a toilet, etc. and are furnished with household goods and high-class furniture.

Clinic, restaurant, laundry and other service facilities were arranged at the apartment to the convenience of sportspersons and their families.

A ceremony of awarding entrance certificates of flats for sportspersons took place at the Central Youth Hall on Thursday.

Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, Kim Ki Nam and officials concerned, officials of the External Construction Guidance Bureau and sportspersons.

Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), made a speech on the awarding of certificates.

The houses reflect Marshal Kim Jong Un's great expectation that the sportspersons will display ardent enthusiasms and faithfully uphold the WPK's idea on turning the DPRK into a sports power, he said.

He stressed the need for officials in the sports field, players and coaches to make contributions to demonstrating the dignity and honor of Songun Korea with gold medals.

Sportspersons' families moved to new flats on the same day.

Kim Jong, who took the title in the 52nd ITTF World Championships (individual events), vowed to continue to win in world championships true to the party's idea on building a sports power, always remembering the honor and happiness she received today.

Sol Kyong, who demonstrated the honor of the country by winning a gold medal in the 2013 World Judo Championships, said in excited tones that she is honored and proud of being a sportsperson of Songun Korea led by Kim Jong Un.
