Meeting for Solidarity with Korean People Held in Britain

Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- A meeting for solidarity with the Korean people took place outside the embassy premise of south Korea in London on September 26. Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, in his speech accused the south Korean authorities of inflicting a heavy penalty upon Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, and brutally suppressing the pro-reunification patriotic forces after fabricating a conspiratorial case of attempted rebellion recently. They are chilling the hard-won atmosphere of dialogue and kicking up a whirlwind of fascist crackdown through a malignant smear campaign against the DPRK and madcap confrontation racket against compatriots, he noted, adding; "The theory of principle" touted by them is nothing but an anti-reunification theory of confrontation with fellow countrymen and a treacherous and sycophantic theory of toeing the U.S. policy for stifling the DPRK from A to Z. The world progressives are strongly urging them to stop their suppression of the pro-reunification patriotic forces. With no rhetoric can they justify their moves to escalate the confrontation with compatriots. The U.S. troops in south Korea are the source of all misfortunes of the Korean people. The U.S. should pull all its forces of aggression out of south Korea as early as possible and stop interfering in the Korean issues. Present at the meeting were figures of the New Communist Party of Britain, the Association for the Study of Songun Politics, the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Friendship Society with Korea, and masses. |
