Leader Kim Jong Il steered the Korean revolution along the glorious road of victory, weathering the stern trial and storms of history with his original Songun revolutionary leadership guided by the idea of giving importance to the army in the 90s of the 20th century when the world socialist movement was at peril and the imperialists became evermore desperate in their moves against socialism and the DPRK.

The might and advantages of Songun displayed in the DPRK instilled strength and courage into the world socialist movement and the anti-imperialist independent forces which had been daunted in confusion. As a result, the movement for independence tided over its crisis worldwide and came to advance on the orbit of fresh development.
