Rodong Sinmun Raps S. Korean Chief Executive's Reckless Remarks

Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive appeared in a series of events held to mark the 60th anniversary of the puppet army of south Korea and alliance with the U.S. In her "commemoration speech" malignantly slandering the DPRK, she termed its bolstering up of nuclear force "illusion". She went the lengths of jabbering that "the north will come to understand itself that nukes and missiles are no longer useful." She made no scruple of letting loose very insolent and reckless remarks that "reform and opening are the only way of existence" and "the south will build powerful deterrence to cope with the north till it dismantles its nuclear weapons and will lead it to the path of change."

Rodong Sinmun Friday observes in a commentary in this regard:

The south Korean chief executive personally incited confrontation with fellow countrymen at a time when the north-south relations are driven into a crisis. This is an outright challenge to the aspiration of the nation and demand of the times and a vicious provocation against the DPRK.

Recently her yes men like Kim Kwan Jin, Ryu Kil Jae and Yun Pyong Se vied with each other to take issue with the line of the DPRK and malignantly slander it over its nuclear issue almost every day. This was deliberate mud-slinging made under her backstage wire-pulling and according to her scenario of confrontation.

What she uttered about the nuclear issue, ballyhooing about "illusion" and "understanding", is a revelation of her sinister intention to shift the responsibility for the escalated tension on the Korean Peninsula onto the DPRK and disarm it in collusion with outside forces.

If she regards the north as a target of confrontation, not a dialogue partner, she will bring only disastrous consequences. Only fools behave so carelessly, calculating they can do anything, though bereft of any elementary ability to judge things.

The south Korean chief executive would be well advised to behave herself if she does not wish to meet the same miserable end as that of traitor Lee Myung Bak.
