Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- The historic October 4 declaration is commanding ever stronger support and sympathy of the world public. The Indian paper Tourism Era termed the points specified in the October 4 declaration realistic issues of key importance for developing inter-Korean relations and achieving independent reunification and peace and prosperity. The declaration fully reflects the aspiration of the Korean nation desirous of discarding conception of confrontation and settling all the issues in line with reconciliation, cooperation and reunification, the paper added. The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint statement said the October 4 declaration was adopted thanks to leader Kim Jong Il who embodied patriotism at the highest level. The statement fully supported all the Korean people in their heroic struggle to drive the U.S. forces out of south Korea and thoroughly implement the October 4 declaration by the concerted efforts of the nation. The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization noted in a statement that the historic October 4 declaration is an action programme which indicates the way to be followed by the Korean people to achieve the national unity and country's reunification. The chairman of the Nigerian Group for Self-Reliance Studies said the adoption of the declaration helped the Korean nation have stronger confidence and optimism towards the country's reunification. The Polish Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in an article posted on its website noted the division of Korea and the inter-Korean confrontation are products of the outside forces' policy of aggression. The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in their joint statement said the Korean people would surely achieve the country's reunification under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un who has successfully carried forward President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il's ideas of national reunification and their exploits. |
