The adoption of the October 4 Declaration marked a milestone in materializing the June 15 Joint Declaration which serves as a program for national reunification.

Its adoption had led to heyday for independent national reunification.

In line with the declaration, a wave of dialogues were held among politicians, businessmen, artistes and literary and academic men in the north and the south, aimed at improving cooperation and exchange.

Colorful events took place throughout south Korea in support of the adoption of the October 4 Declaration.

Pro-reunification organizations in the north, south and abroad, including the North and South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification released a series of statements supporting the declaration.

South Korea's media highlighted the inter-Korean cooperation, describing the declaration as a cornerstone for ensuring peace in the Korean Peninsula.

But the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors totally denied the inter-Korean declarations, branding the years of implementing them as a "lost decade".

Calling them "outcome of north's strategy towards the south", the group slandered the idea of "By our nation itself" as "narrow-minded nationalism" and "exclusive nationalism", totally laying check bars on all kinds of reunification-related events.

They also abandoned all collaborations which had been underway between the north and the south.

The present south Korean ruling quarters have now driven to bankruptcy the inter-Korean relations that has been put on its track, sticking to "confrontation accompanied with dialogue".

The past six-year-long history clearly indicates that the principles for the improvement of inter-Korean relations lie in implementing the declarations.

The Korean people's desire for independent reunification and peaceful prosperity can never be realized, as long as those sycophantic traitors remain in power in south Korea.

Should the Pak Geun Hye group persist in confrontation with the fellow countrymen as its predecessor did, they will face a deadly punishment of history.
