Premier Soccer Matches Go on in DPRK

| Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- Premier soccer matches for the DPRK Championships are going on at Kim Il Sung Stadium in Pyongyang. The Hwaebul Team beat the Wolmido Team 3:0 and the April 25 Team defeated the Amnokgang Team 1:0 in men's events held on Friday. The April 25 Team won the Kalmaegi Team 2:0 and the Chongchongang Team drew with the Hwangryongsan Team 2:2 in women's events held on the same day. On Saturday, the Myohyangsan Team edged out the Pyongyang Team 4:2, while the match between the Sobaeksu Team and the Mangyongbong Team ended with no goal. |
