They included a celebration meeting in Mexico, a lecture in Romania and a friendly meeting and a film show in Benin held on September 30 and October 1.

The chairman of a city cultural and sports committee of Mexico said in his speech that leader Kim Jong Il closely united the whole party in the monolithic idea and will and pursued Songun politics, frustrating the imperialist allied forces' moves for aggression and interference and defending socialism while leading the WPK for decades.

He stressed that President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's noble idea of party building and exploits are shedding more brilliant rays and the might of the WPK is growing stronger thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania noted that Kim Il Sung was the great leader who set a shining example in the building of the Juche-type revolutionary party, adding that Kim Jong Il who carried forward the idea and cause of the President authored a lot of works giving perfect answers to all issues arising in the party building and activities, thereby providing a solid foundation for developing the WPK.

The chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that Kim Jong Il was the most experienced statesman.

Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung and thoroughly embodied it in the revolution and construction. He victoriously advanced the Korean revolution, believing in the strength of the people and depending on it, he added.

A message of greeting to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in Benin.
