This was disclosed by an ex-agent of the psychological warfare team of the IS who appeared as a witness at the trial of Won Se Hun, former director of the IS, held at the Seoul Central District Court on Sept. 30.

He admitted that he posted on website articles critical of An Chol Su and Mun Jae In, "presidential" candidates, in the run-up to the election.

He testified that he posted on website an article slandering the representative of the Unified Progressive Party and others.

He also testified that a higher institution instructed the team to post on website videos praising Lee Myung Bak in a bid to calm down the anti-"government" spirit and the IS bribed people to conduct cyber activities against progressive forces.
