The factory has been put on an integral production system. It has all production processes ranging from latest precision cutting and machining equipment, mainly ultra-modern CNC-based equipment, to equipment for testing and measuring, packing and trademark fixing.

The appearance of a base for the production of precision machines equivalent to a machine plant makes it possible to mass-produce high quality fuel pumps and plunger and jet orifice, etc. and thus contribute to the development of the nation's rolling stock industry.

An inaugural ceremony was held on Monday.

Present there were Jon Sung Hun, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Ri Jong Guk, minister of Machine-building Industry, Kim Chun Sop, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Tok Hun, chairman of the provincial people's committee, and others.

The participants went round the production process at the end of the ceremony.
