Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Lectures and film shows took place in Sweden, Guinea and Thailand between October 1 and 3 on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). Present at the events were personages of the Communist Party in Sweden, the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, Guinean Art College and the Mariners' Ship and Commerce Co. of Thailand and masses. Participants in the film shows watched Korean films "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and the "Monument to Party Founding". The chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said: President Kim Il Sung, founder of the party, always went among the people to hear their voices and set forth lines and policies fully representing their aspirations and desires. It is an iron rule of the WPK to give priority to the interests of the popular masses in all work. The popular policies of the WPK were enforced without interruption even in the grimmest period when the country underwent sufferings due to the extreme moves of the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces to stifle the DPRK and consecutive natural disasters. It is by no means accidental that the Korean people call the WPK mother party. The WPK holding supreme leader Kim Jong Un in high esteem will win only victories, being absolutely supported and trusted by the people as mother party. The dean of fine arts faculty of the Guinean college stressed that the key to victories won by the WPK is the guiding idea, steel-like cohesion and unity of the whole party and absolute support and trust of the popular masses. The director of Mariners' Ship and Commerce Co. of Thailand affirmed that the WPK would as ever demonstrate its invincible might as it is led by Kim Jong Un. |
