DPRK's Papers Denounce S. Korean Military Drills
|

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, the south Korean warmongers started 2013 Hoguk Combined Landing Operation in Pohang in North Kyongsang Province and in waters off it under the cloak of "cultivating capability for combined landing operation". The DPRK's papers on Wednesday carry commentaries in this regard. The papers noted that a series of military exercises are apparently aimed at the preemptive attack on the DPRK, an intolerable act of harassing peace, creating a touch-and-go situation and increasing the danger of a nuclear war to the extremes on the Korean Peninsula. Rodong Sinmun discloses that the south Korean puppet group stage war maneuvers one after another together with the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops to round off the preparations for combined operations with the U.S., its master, and ignite a nuclear war at any cost. Terming this a reckless act, the paper goes on: The puppet group are brazen-faced enough to clamor about the "north's provocation", while watching for a chance to mount an attack on the north by force of arms day and night. The senseless acts on the part of the puppet group of taking the road of confrontation and war in pursuance of ambition to invade the north with the help of outside forces will precipitate its own ruin. The DPRK will not remain a passive onlooker to the reckless acts of the south Korean puppet group as they intensify the military provocations day by day going against the trend for dialogue and peace. The DPRK is hardening its determination and will to blow away the stronghold of the provocation with merciless fire-threshing and root out the source of war from this land. Minju Joson warns if the south Korean puppet forces, the stooges of the U.S., misjudge the DPRK's sincerity and patience for the improvement of the inter-Korean relation as "weakness" and open fire at the DPRK, they will meet the decisive blows from the enraged army and people of the DPRK. |
