Foreign Crewmen Mark Birthday of WPK
Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Foreign crewmen held a meeting to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea at Wonsan port, Kangwon Province on Wednesday.

They laid a bouquet before the mosaic depicting smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il standing in Wonsan City and paid tribute to them.

Captain and crewmen of a Sierra Leonean flagged ship "JIN ZHAO 11" were present at the meeting.

The speakers recalled that Kim Il Sung proclaimed before the whole world the founding of the WPK, the party of working masses, on October 10, 1945.

They went on:

The WPK has grown to be an invincible party, firmly preserving the bloodline of Juche despite a stern trial. This would be unthinkable without the indefatigable efforts of Kim Jong Il.

The WPK is now shedding its more brilliant rays as the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il under the guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The speakers wished the Korean people greater success in the work for building a thriving socialist nation and carrying out the cause of national reunification under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Un.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
