On display there are products and diagrams, etc. showcasing more than 1 600 research successes presented by over 70 universities including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Huichon University of Technology, Wonsan University of Agriculture.

The exhibition is divided into 10 panels such as light industry, printing, agriculture, biology, forestry, veterinary science and animal husbandry, poultry farming, metal, new materials, electricity, electronics, automation and basic science.

The participants in the event will have opportunities to swap successes and experience gained in settling the scientific and technological issues arising in improving the people's living standard and building a thriving socialist nation.

An opening ceremony of the exhibition took place at the Three-Revolution Exhibition House Wednesday.

Present there were officials concerned, and teachers, researchers and graduate students from universities across the country.
